The Method Gun - Wesleyan Theater Department Production Spring 2020

Sound designed the Spring 2020 department production of The Method Gun, a show about a company of actors struggling to perform a version of A Streetcar Named Desire with none of the main characters and without their guru, their acting teacher Stella Burden. After Stella leaves without warning, the company must figure out how to grow and perform without her, leading the tensions underlying the group dynamics to surface.

The show was originally intended for an in-person performance, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we transitioned to a Zoom production. There were two livestreamed performances, one on Friday, May 1st 2020 and one on Saturday, May 2nd 2020 (embedded below).

The show website, including a digital program, can be found here.

An article interviewing the director and many of the actors can be found here.

The design was done in Ableton Live 10 and Logic Pro X.
