Party At the Edge of the World
A show about a child grappling with how climate change forces him and his family to abandon his grandmother’s house to ruin, leaving memories and the frozen moments of time along with it.
I was one of two sound designers for the show, with my focus primarily on composing the sung melodies of the show and providing sound design for various environmental ambiances and miscellaneous sound cues.
It saw two live performances on November 6th, 2021 and November 7th, 2021 on Wesleyan University’s campus. A recording of the show was taken and is embedded below. A critique of the show can be found in the Wesleyan Argus.
The design was done in Ableton Live 11.
